Patricia Ladd Carega Gallery exhibits work in all media by both established and emerging artists. The gallery originally opened in 1983 in Washington,D.C. It re-opened in Sandwich in 2001. Works on paper, sculpture, painting, photography and installations are on exhibit. The gallery endeavors to find dynamic artists, regional, national and international, who's work is of the hightest quality.
The venue for the exhibition is an ample barn (c.1825). Both the art and the view are worth a visit!
Though the gallery closes in the wintertime, art-consulting services are available year round.

Over 80 years as a gallery offering fine hand-made products and education in the crafts, Sandwich Home Industries was started in 1926 a shop to help local people sell their hand-made products. In 1932, the Industries went on to become a founding member of the League of NH Craftsmen, one of the oldest and most prestigious craft organizations in the country.
The tradition continues today. In our gallery you will find traditional and contemporary crafts in a wide range of media: pottery, prints, wood, glass, jewelry, metal, stone, basketry, fiber arts and more. Meet the craftspeople and watch them work at our craft demos. Or learn a new craft yourself at one of our classes for adults or children.

The Gallery specializes in original fine art in a variety of mediums (oil, water color, pastels, etc.). You will also find exquisitely crafted jewelry, wood sculptures, and folk art painted on chests, barrel staves, and other objects. When you experience the Art, you will understand the lure of New Hampshire.
