Patricia Ladd Carega Gallery exhibits work in all media by both established and emerging artists. The gallery originally opened in 1983 in Washington,D.C. It re-opened in Sandwich in 2001. Works on paper, sculpture, painting, photography and installations are on exhibit. The gallery endeavors to find dynamic artists, regional, national and international, who's work is of the hightest quality.
The venue for the exhibition is an ample barn (c.1825). Both the art and the view are worth a visit!
Though the gallery closes in the wintertime, art-consulting services are available year round.
The Gallery specializes in original fine art in a variety of mediums (oil, water color, pastels, etc.). You will also find exquisitely crafted jewelry, wood sculptures, stone fountains and folk art painted on chests, barrel staves, and other objects. When you experience the Art, you will understand the lure of New Hampshire.
Art classes are held throughout the summer. Check our website for more details.
