For more than 150 years, the Corner House has been a staple of the Center Sandwich community. With a reputation for good food and warm friends, we serve inspired American cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor dining options.
Enjoy the downstairs dining room or the more casual upstairs pub, where you can hear live music on Wednesday and Friday nights and lounge fireside in the colder months. Reservations can be made directly on our website. The Corner House is also home to the Sandwich Creamery, where locally made ice cream treats can be purchased to go. Get to the Corner and savor this little slice of New England hospitality. |

The Foothills Café and Curio

The Foothills Café and Curio in the heart of Center Sandwich offers coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine, beer, groceries and curio. The redesigned cafe provides a welcoming environment at all hours of the day and night. With shared office space and a patio in the back, you can work, play or gather with friends for a coffee, drink or meal.
The Foothills is a collaboration of Sandwich all stars. Featured are lunches from Ashley Bullard’s Eleven’s Kinetic Provisions, Ruth Cherneff’s Oscar B’s Ice Cream and dinners from Josette’s Fine Catering. We also have pizza from Piccolo in Moultonborough. The walls are decorated with curio hand-picked by Designer Rebecca Cole. You can purchase a bear shaped chocolate or a fancy wedding gift and each item was picked with our interior design in mind. The Foothills also offers essential groceries so you don’t have to make the long drive to Center Harbor for a quart of milk. |

Papa Beans Ice Cream

At Papa Beans Ice Cream, we invite you to experience the art of crafting fresh, small-batch ice cream made with the finest milk and cream from Hatchland Farm. Visit us at 301 Wing Road, nestled within the picturesque Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse in North Sandwich, where you can watch the magic happen firsthand. Our self-serve farmstand offers an array of treats, including half pints, pints, quarts, indulgent ice cream sandwiches, and custom ice cream pies or cakes. For a truly memorable experience, our charming ice cream cart, complete with an umbrella, is available for both private and public events. Payments are easily accepted via cash, check, or Venmo. Tamworth Distilling

Tamworth Distilling’s story is as old as America itself, planting their flag in the heart of a historic New Hampshire village. Tamworth Distilling has set up their distillery in accordance to the land around us, not against it. Taking a cue from the 19th century Transcendentalists of New England, Tamworth Distilling pull their inspiration and their ingredients from the environment that surrounds them.
From start to finish, each spirit embodies their scratch made ethos: local, house-milled grain, pure White Mountain water, herbs and botanicals from the woods and our garden, and local fruits and vegetables. Craftsmen custom-built and outfitted the 250-gallon copper still by Vendome in Kentucky with a brandy helmet, whiskey column, gin basket, and rectifying column. These components give them the versatility to produce a variety of different products and change batches with the seasons. |
Each small-batch, scratch-made spirit is a taste of Tamworth and a result of the work of partners large and small, from honeybees and gardeners to farmers and distillers. Our recipes are born from the crops we grow and the histories buried in the soil below.
