Virtual Sandwich Farmers Market ~ Summer, 2020


In the interest of the safety of loyal customers and ourselves, the vendors of the Sandwich Farmers Market have decided to suspend the Wednesday market for the summer. We will miss our customers’ joyful faces, children dripping wet from a swim in Squam, old friends kitbitzing over a dish of Elevens’ fare, toddlers greeting one another,  summer visitors catching up with year-round residents. We will miss all of you admiring our bottle of wine, the perfect tomato, Bob’s incredible baguettes,  the cuts of beef, or a bouquet of flowers. All of you pausing to listen to local artists’ music and to notice the play of evening sunlight on the trees over Church Street. We’ll miss you and the market.

We invite you to help us adapt, to be creative, to keep up this invaluable community connection. Most of us have small farmstands at our homes, on our farms.  We invite you to take a road trip around Sandwich and visit us.  Wear your mask and gloves.  Come with cash in small bills.  Read our signs. We’re trying to sell our produce, meat, eggs, prepared foods, baked goods, coffee, wine, flowers, herbs, seedlings, maple syrup and more at these tiny self-service stands. 

We can post our daily or weekly surprises on our Facebook page, Sandwich Farmers’ Market, NH.  Call ahead with orders. Or stop by and check us out, carefully. Let us know your thoughts and suggestions.  How can we keep you safe?  How can you keep us safe? And how can we provide you with delicious, wonderful , fresh, locally grown produce here in your town?
Booty Family Farm
The Booty Family Farm is excited to announce it is growing food for you and your family again. We will be back this year offering a full range of certified organic vegetables. Stay tuned for farm stand offerings and market appearances. Currently we have maple syrup and pottery by Rachel Bartlett in the stand. Chestnut Meadow Farm
Our little family farm here in Sandwich is trying to do its part. Despite no farmers’ market this year, we still have a mission to help provide delicious, nutritious local eggs and vegetables to our community. We’re thankful for how everyone is adapting to this new normal of placing orders for eggs and veggies.  

Email, text, or call to place an order. We will fill the orders in the order they were received, first come first serve. When you place your order I’ll let you know when to expect the order to be ready, then I will contact you again when it is ready. Some items are in limited quantities, but we’ll do our best. Depending on what is available, your order may take a couple days to be ready for you to pick up.

This week, we have: Beautiful curly kale, spring turnips, mixed salad greens, garlic scapes, basil, parsley, chives, dill. And in limited quantities: eggs, lettuce, radishes, swiss chard, asparagus.

Hill People Winery
Hill People is a little winery on the Southern slope of Flat Mountain specializing in handcrafted wines from our own cold-hardy grapes and local fruits. Range View Farm
Range View's heirloom lettuces are ready. Three  small sweet heads for $5. We only cut for orders.  Call before 6 p.m. Friday for a pickup on Saturday.  Also garlic scapes.  The lettuces include Thomas Jefferson's favorites, tennis ball and brown Dutch, the trout Forellenschuss, Lolo, a red girl, the Mayan Jaquar, and other sweet delicious and interesting lettuces. Remick offers grass-fed beef, pork, lamb, & chicken; along with eggs, maple syrup, pantry items (jams, jellies, vinegars), and herbal products. We currently operation a curbside pickup system but delivery to Sandwich & Tamworth is available for offers of $50 or more. We roast coffee fresh every Thursday. We start roasting at 7 AM on Thursdays, so please place your order before that time. Pick up is on Friday after 9am from our coffee box at the end of our driveway 135 Range Rd. Sandwich NH.  Any time, day or night, 24 / 7. We always send you an email letting you know your order is ready to be picked up with the code to open the box!
