Welcome to Discover Sandwich,

celebrating the town of Sandwich, New Hampshire.
Find out what's going on, what used to go on, and what goes on and on,
in and around this vibrant, historic New England village.

Stephanie Goddard writes: What a wonderful time of year this is! Early mornings bring symphonies of bird song. Robins, phoebes, chickadees, sparrows, thrushes, and more, all blend to perform a joyful greeting for the new day. The woods and hills of the Sandwich Range are lush, green, and welcoming. Squam Lake sparkles and invites. And long, warm days stretch into quiet evenings when you can gather with friends and family and enjoy the beauty.

Sandwich Woman's Club Raffle

As hard as it is to believe, Old Home Week and the Sandwich Woman's Club Raffle is less than 3 months away! That being said, The Woman's Club is soliciting donations from local businesses & artisans for our annual raffle. Proceeds from the raffle are disbursed to Sandwich students attending college or trade school to assist them with book & supply money. Last year we were able to assist 10 students, each receiving $300.

Fun fact - some of last year's donors were prior recipients or parents of recipients, past & present. If you would like to help us help them, or have questions, please let us know. Thank you for your consideration. Sharon Teel, Nina Eaton, Sarah Eaton, Rita Buker

Sandwich Notch Road Closed

The Sandwich Notch Road will be closed to vehicular traffic (foot travel allowed) as of April 13th at 7:30 AM due to road conditions. A notice will be posted when it is reopened. In addition, the road weight restrictions for town roads was lifted Friday, April 14th. Happy mud season! Ty Bryant, Road Agent; 603-284-6950 (highway garage)
